Greetings! Just moved to Denver and would love to join the next in-person c
Dear All, Greetings! My name is Abram Bicksler and I'm the President/CEO of ECHO (www.echonet.org). I just moved to Denver from Florida 2 months ago in that capacity! I'm delighted to know there is a chapter for the Rocky Mountain region (part of the reason for my move from Ft. Myers was to be nearer to professional networks, NGO's and an international airport) that I can be a part of. A bit about me: I'm a Ph.D. in sustainable agriculture and worked internationally for 13+ years in Asia (with ECHO as Director) and globally (with FAO in Rome on agroecology) and have been the President/CEO of ECHO, a Christian agricultural networking and technical resourcing organization for now over 2 years (www.echocommunity.org). We work via a diverse network of over 19,000 organizations and individuals in nearly every country to help them be more effective in their use of contextualized agricultural innovations, seeds, plants, techniques and approaches to defeat hunger and improve the lives of the poor in order to love their neighbors and Glorify God. Some of you may know Dr. Martin Price and Bonnie Price, who are long-standing members of ASA and dear friends of mine. Anyway- I'm in Denver now, work occasionally from the Posner Center, and love meeting up with other scientists to share about life! Feel free to get in touch with me at abicksler@echonet.org. I look forward to future chapter meetings as well! Kind regards, Abram
