Speaker & Regional Event Funding

We are delighted to support ASA members, local chapters and affiliates through small grants (up to $750) for expenses related to speaker events. The goal of this funding is to encourage local chapters and affiliates to partner with other groups or institutions in a region around an in-person speaker in order to reach larger audiences, leverage resources, and build collaborations. We desire for the funding to help encourage partnership, expand the impact and reach of the ASA, and increase the visibility of the chapter or ASA in a region. Ideally, though not required, these funds would be used along with funding from partners.

Requirements

Must partner with 1 or more groups outside the ASA.
Create and publish graphic to promote the event extensively including through social media.
Promote ASA membership to attendees.
Provide ASA office with attendee list (name and email addresses) for follow-up after event.
