Are you a campus minister? We have many ways to support you and the
people you serve, from undergraduates through faculty.
Free ASA Membership
We are delighted to offer free membership in the American Scientific
Affiliation to campus ministers (provided they can assent to our statement of faith). To join now,
visit this page
and select the membership type applicable to you (either Member or
Associate Member). Use the promo code CAMPUS for free
membership.
Events & Programming
We also have a
rhythm of events throughout the year to help you feature great speakers
and engage faith and work questions in science-related careers. You can
invite students and faculty to participate in just one or all of them.
They’re designed to work as standalones and to build to a larger
experience if you can attend more than one. See below for some great
starting points.
Aug 30, 2025: Faith & Work Accelerator
Sat August 30th, 1pm EDT / 10am PDT
Note: This is the start of the Labor Day Weekend.
Online: Zoom
Launch into the fall with a new excitement around what you believe and
what you do. Hear from a panel of scientists and campus ministers on
connecting faith & work in science-related fields, then split into Zoom
rooms to connect with colleagues and/or mentors in your field area.
Groups are based on the field areas of those who sign up, but we
anticipate having Zoom rooms for social sciences, biology, chemistry,
physics, AI & Tech, environmental science, and more. Kelly Seaton, HIV
Researcher at Duke University, is one featured panelist. Stay tuned for
more!

faith conference. We’ll feature scholarship, professional development
opportunities, and a rich community of Christians who care about
science. It’s a great moment to jumpstart conversations about faith and
work throughout the year. You’ll also be more equipped to support
students and faculty in scientific fields.
