Religion in a Changing Workplace with Dr. Elaine Howard Ecklund
The Center for Faith & Learning at the Anselm House is delighted to host Dr. Elaine Howard Ecklund (Rice University) to discuss new approaches to faith at work.
In
this lecture, Dr. Howard Ecklund will explore how religious identity
shapes experiences in today’s religiously diverse and secular
professional environments. Drawing on interviews and surveys across
multiple industries, Ecklund reveals the often-overlooked tensions and
accommodations surrounding faith at work. This talk, on the occasion of
her new book with Dr. Denise Daniels (
Working for Better: A New Approach to Faith at Work),
will delve into how organizations and individuals navigate religious
expression, inclusion, and conflict in modern workplaces, as well as
provide recommendations for a healthy religious pluralism in today’s
workplaces.
