We would like to extend an invitation to you to join the Developing a Christian Mind (DCM) group. This Winter, DCM will host weekly discussions on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, which we believe to be of interest for many ASA members. The discussion is based on John Lennox's book 2084: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity. DCM is a group within InterVarsity Grad Fellowship at Stanford University which focuses on the integration of faith and work/ academia. By God's grace, during the pandemic, the group flourished and expanded beyond Stanford. Currently it also has student/ postdoc members from UCSF, Caltech, Cornell, Boston, and John Hopkins, as well as a few professionals. DCM will have two discussion groups running in parallel every Tuesday evening (6:30-8 pm): (1) Stanford in-person group, meeting at the Graduate Community Center, level 2. (2) Zoom group, meeting using the link below. You are welcome to participate online but if you are close to the Stanford campus, please do not hesitate to join us in-person. The series will start next Tuesday (1/17). If you are interested, please contact Evan Laksono (in-person, elaksono@stanford.edu) or Kristel Tjandra (zoom, ktjandra@stanford.edu) for more information.
