The classic Weight of Glory by C.S. Lewis, the most important Christian writer of the 20th century, contains sermons delivered by Lewis during World War Two.

The addresses offer guidance, inspiration, and a compassionate apologetic for the Christian faith during a time of great doubt.

The Weight of Glory sheds new light on many of the ideas expressed in Lewis’s longer books and is provocative and stimulating reading.

For our second discussion May 15th, we will cover the following essays, in order. (We may not get through all of them): The Inner Ring, Why I am Not a Pacifist, On Forgiveness, Is Theology Poetry, A Slip of the Tongue.
