Share Your Story About the Goodness of Science
Throughout the conference, ASA, BioLogos, and AAAS DoSER will be filming short videos of ASA attendees sharing how they have seen science inspire awe, deepen faith, and make a difference in the world. If you’d like to share a story, we’d love for you to participate.
Conference Etiquette
- Please bear in mind ASA's approach to disagreement:
- The ASA is not an advocacy organization. Where there is honest disagreement on an aspect of science, Christian faith, or the relationship between the two, the ASA strives to create a safe environment in which dialogue can flourish and diverse, even contrasting, ideas can be discussed with courtesy and respect.
- We are committed to providing an open forum where controversies can be discussed without fear of unjust condemnation. Legitimate differences of opinion among Christians who have studied both the Bible and science are freely expressed within the Affiliation in a context of Christian love, humility and concern for truth.
- For those topics on which there is no consensus and further study and analysis is needed, ASA members are dedicated to promoting ethically and methodologically sound research and dialogue.
- Please be mindful of cell phone etiquette while attending the conference. Please silence your phones when in sessions and step outside before taking/making any calls.

Is there a dress code for ASA annual meetings?
- Regular sessions: most attendees wear business-casual attire. Photos from past conferences can give you a good idea.
- It's a good idea to dress up a little if you're presenting a talk or poster session.
- It's best to bring along active wear for field trips and sporting events.
- It's wise to bring a sweater or jacket for the cool early morning, evenings, and for the air conditioned meeting rooms.
If there is a problem, or should you have any other questions, please contact us at becky@asa3.org.
