ATTEND VIRTUALLY
Online options for our 2022 Annual Meeting
We've heard your feedback and know that some of you are unable to be with us in person at ASA 2022 in San Diego but would like to participate virtually. The ASA is excited to announce two different ways for online participation.
- Workshop – “Key Advances in the Science of Adam, Eve, and Evolution” by ASA Fellow and plenary speaker Josh Swamidass will be available for remote participation as a Zoom meeting. This three-hour workshop will take place on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 1:30 pm PT/2:30 pm MT/3:30 pm CT/4:30 pm ET. The cost for the virtual workshop is $25.00 and can be purchased by registering for ASA 2022 and choosing the registration option “not attending any talks” and then adding the ticket for virtual participation in this workshop. You will receive a Zoom link prior to the meeting.
 - Livestream sessions – All of the plenary speakers, one track of oral presentations, the Saturday night gala event, Sunday worship, and the State of the ASA meeting will be livestreamed. While there is no registration fee to watch these events, we are encouraging a suggested donation of $150 (or $25 per session). Additionally, ASA Executive Director Emeritus Randy Isaac is hosting a series of three Zoom meetings during the weekend for our online attendees to discuss the sessions they've been viewing. Please find the full schedule of online sessions below.
