"Asymptomatic Racism: The Silent Contagion of Hatred in Us All"

Thursday, Nov. 19, 2 pm EST/11 am PST 

Join us over your lunch break for a video presentation and live Q&A with Frank Robinson. Starting from the biblical motif of sin as sickness, Frank will discuss racism as a public health issue in terms of virology and epidemiology. He will compare systemic racism to a virus such as COVID-19, considering several similarities such as its apparently asymptomatic spread, localized versus systemic effects, and the lytic and lysogenic life cycle. Finally, he will introduce contact theory as one means of defending ourselves from the moral pandemic of racism that has plagued our nation from its inception.

Announcing ASA's New Career Center

The ASA has a new career center for job seekers and employers. Job seekers can search for jobs, post their resume, and receive updates on new jobs that meet their criteria.
