The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, which houses the Center for Tree Science, is a 1700-acre outdoor museum and research center on tress, prairie restoration, and woodland stewardship. The living collections include more than 4,100 different plant species with more than 200,000 catalogues plants. The Schulenberg Prairie at the arboretum is one of the largest restored prairies in the Chicago suburban area. This is a one-hour walking guided tour of the arboretum.
