Information and Advice for Attending Our First-Ever Virtual Annual Meeting
Getting Ready to Use Pathable

Our 2021 virtual annual meeting will be held on Pathable, an award-winning conference app platform.
In the weeks leading up to ASA 2021, each registrant will be sent a link to create a Pathable account. It is not possible to create Pathable accounts ahead of time.
In addition to our ASA team, Pathable technical support staff will be on hand throughout ASA 2021 in order to help provide a smooth experience for all.
In order to get comfortable with Pathable as an attendee, please begin by viewing the short video below. After that, we invite you to consult the Attendee User Guide below the video, with content provided by Pathable.

General Technical Advice
- The Pathable experience uses a web browser together with Zoom. Please ensure that you have the most up-to-date versions of both your browser and the Zoom app on your device. (Zoom release notes here.)
- For the best experience, close all other unnecessary applications/processes that could impact your network/processing power.
- Depending on the speed of your network connection, temporarily disabling automatic updates both on your computer and other devices in your home (e.g. automatic iPhone iOS updates) can help prevent unexpected drops in connection speed during online events/meetings.
- It's generally a good idea to shut down & reboot your computer ahead of time before doing anything that may be taxing on your computer, such as participating in an online meeting.
