Welcome to the ASA 2019 Annual Meeting!

The American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) invites you to participate in this year's Annual Meeting at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. Check back here for continuous updates. Registration will open in April.

The theme of ASA 2019 is Exploring Creation, combining the scientific aspect of exploration with the theological concept of the natural world as creation. This theme epitomizes the work of the ASA, focusing on understanding science and related fields in the context of our Christian faith. We have six fabulous plenary speakers, and parallel sessions and a poster session on various aspects of creation, digital technology, and other topics.

ASA Contact

The American Scientific Affiliation( was founded in 1941 as an international network of Christians in the sciences. Members of the ASA are united by a belief in the orthodoxy of Christianity, as defined by the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds and a commitment to excellence in science. The ASA is not an advocacy organization. Where there is honest disagreement on an aspect of science, Christian faith, or the relationship between the two, the ASA strives to create a safe environment in which dialogue can flourish and diverse, even contrasting, ideas can be discussed with courtesy and respect.
