NewsNote | November 8, 2022

Dear Friends,

Fall greetings from the ASA office!

This November we are focused on God's goodness and faithfulness to the ASA over the last few years during the pandemic. We are especially grateful for our members engaged in the interface of vital faith-science questions and living out their calling from God in service to society, science, and the church.

Please check out this NewsNote for the multitude of ASA happenings taking place around North America.

Joyfully in Christ,

The ASA Team: Janel, Vicki, Lyn, Becky, Dana, Michele, Hannah, and Mark

ASA 2023 – Moving Forward Together: The Future of Science and Faith

ASA Fellow April Cordero recently co-authored the book, What about Evolution: A Biologist, Pastor, and Theologian Answer Your Questions. This book is written specifically for students, parents, or someone interested in understanding a bit about evolution and how it is compatible with faith.

Movers and Shakers!

ASA Fellow Ted Davis along with social scientist Elaine Howard Ecklund were featured in the Trinity Forum "Discovery and Doxology" podcast series earlier this year. The conversation focused on ways in which science and religion pursue truth – and the ways in which scientific and theological knowledge relate in constructive, even beautiful ways.
