PANDEMIC IN A GOOD CREATION

Abstract:  The Covid-19 virus that Dr. Collins has described is a fascinating structure, but is it “good”?  Well, “Everything created by God is good” (1 Timothy 4:4).  But it certainly has had bad effects on the world in the past year. How can we make sense of that?  What God would create such a world, and how does that God act in creation?  How should we think about evil in creation? People have asked such questions for centuries, and ask them now about the pandemic.  They should be responded to with good science in the light of Christ.
