On Thursday October 5, 2017 the Center for Research in Science (CRIS) at Azusa Pacific University will be hosting “Gene Editing: Who Draws the Line? – A discussion on the science, ethics, and advances of CRISPR”. From 4:30-5:15 pm Dr. Ting Wu (Professor of Genetics at Harvard University) will be presenting a special lecture on CRISPR-Cas9. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Q&A from 5:45-6:45 pm.

On Thursday October 5, 2017 the Center for Research in Science (CRIS) at Azusa Pacific University will be hosting “Gene Editing: Who Draws the Line? – A discussion on the science, ethics, and advances of CRISPR”. From 4:30-5:15 pm Dr. Ting Wu (Professor of Genetics at Harvard University) will be presenting a special lecture on CRISPR-Cas9.  This will be followed by a panel discussion with Q&A from 5:45-6:45 pm.  Panelists will include Dr. Wu, Dr. Nathan H. Joh (Scientist at Amgen) and Dr. Rico Vitz (Chair and Professor of Philosophy at APU).  Both events will be held in the Perry Lecture Hall (room 162) of the Segerstrom Science Center.  Please email  cris@apu.edu for more information or to RSVP.
