Greetings from the ASA!
These are busy, but very exciting days for us, and we are happy to share with you these important updates.
We especially hope you will plan to join us for the 2017 ASA Annual Meeting in Golden, Colorado, in July. Registration is open and the conference promises outstanding speakers, interesting parallel sessions, a poster session, and of course, many opportunities for fellowship and fun!
We always enjoy hearing from our members so feel free to drop us a line any time.

On the Road Again...
Leslie and Vicki are on the road and excited to visit with ASA members and friends in Florida and Texas over the next two weeks. If they are in your neck of the woods, please be sure to say hello!
ASA will be an exhibitor at the BioLogos Conference: Christ and Creation. Vicki and Leslie look forward to seeing many ASA friends, including Deb Haarsma, Francis Collins and others. We hope you can join us there! Click here for more information about the conference.
You can also register to join the conference via live stream to watch the plenaries live, submit questions, and re-watch any sessions that you missed. Or gather a group at your church or campus to watch the live stream together!
ASA Houston Chapter Meeting
A time of fellowship and discussion with ASA members in the Houston area. Leslie will speak about "The History and Future of the ASA."
Christian Leadership Alliance Conference

ASA Baylor Chapter Launch
The new Baylor Campus Chapter of the ASA is holding its first meeting! Leslie will be speaking and light refreshments will be served. All ASA members are encouraged to come support this new chapter initiative.
ASA at the Catholic Scientists Conference
Ted Davis will represent the ASA at the Catholic Scientists Conference in Chicago, April 21-23. The conference theme is Origins. ASA members - be sure to be on the lookout for Ted!
Christianity Today Science Essay Contest
The Christianity Today science essay contest, is looking for submissions from all fields from biology, chemistry and physics to psychology and sociology. They are looking for solid science pieces that have a strong connection to the Christian faith. Stories can tell us more about what it means to be human, inspire awe and worship of God, etc. The first place award is $6,000; second place is $3,000; first place is $2,000. Submissions are due April 30. Click here for more information.

Please consider submitting an essay for publication in an upcoming Alzheimer's science theme issue of Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith. Call for papers deadline has been extended until May 1, 2017. Click here for details.
