Beyond the Controversy: Bringing Science and Faith Together

Panel discussion by the ASA Executive Council

We're delighted to have the ASA Executive Council come to Ipswich, MA, on March 22 and 23 for our regular council business meeting. While they are in town, we'd like to take advantage of their presence and give all of you a chance to hear them and have a discussion with them. Members are: Susan Daniels, Bob Kaita, Hal Poe, Keith Miller, Johnny Lin, and David Buller.

The meeting will be organized as a panel discussion with each council member giving their perspective and then opening it up for questions and comments. We've asked each member to address the question ""What is the status and future of the encounter between science and Christian faith in today’s world?” and what is and will ASA be doing about it? Then you can all give them a piece of your mind and help the council move the ASA in the right direction.

The council will be having dinner at the Gordon College dining hall before the meeting. You are all welcome to come join us. Get your tray in the dining room and after the cashier, come up the stairs to the Center for Student Development room where we will have a private dining room. Dining hall hours are 5pm to 6:45PM.
