The American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) and the First Presbyterian Church of Boulder's "Scientists in Congregation" program are hosting a one-day workshop to discuss one of today's hot topics: sustainable energy. Come listen to experts in renewable energy (including scientists from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory) talk about their research and discuss the pros and cons of sustainable energy technologies within a Christian context. Take part in lively panel discussions with a focus on the relationship between Christianity and today's energy issues

Morning snacks and beverages will be provided, however lunch is not provided (several eating places are within walking distance, or you can bring your own lunch).

First Presbyterian Church is located at 1820 15th Street in Boulder, occupying the block between 15th and 16th and between Canyon and Walnut. There is some parking on the west side of the church block, but city parking garages are free on weekends and one is located on 15th half a block north of the church, and another on Walnut a block west of the church. The event will be in Oerter Hall, which is the large event room on the first floor of the West side of the church.
