The conference will feature plenary talks and events by Leslie Wickman of the ASA and Jeff Schloss of Westmont College as well as a variety of contributed talks, posters, panel discussions, and book reviews on a variety of topics related to science and faith. A light lunch will be provided and there will be times for fellowship and discussion.
Check-In and Parking Information
All sessions will be held in the School of Business Building at CBU. The plenary sessions will be in Innovators Auditorium, and the breakout sessions will be held in classrooms of the Business Building.
When you enter CBU's campus via the main entrance on Magnolia Avenue and Campus Bridge Drive, please check in at the welcoming booth and they will direct you to the School of Business Building. There is a large lot with free parking immediately in front of the building. A registration table will be set up in the breezeway of the School of Business Building.
The American Scientific Affiliation (www.asa3.org) was founded in 1941 as an international network of Christians in the sciences. Members of the ASA are united by a belief in orthodox Christianity, as defined by the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds and a commitment to excellence in science. The ASA is not an advocacy organization. Where there is honest disagreement on an aspect of science, Christian faith, or the relationship between the two, the ASA strives to create a safe environment in which dialogue can flourish and diverse, even contrasting, ideas can be discussed with courtesy and respect.
