Hi, fellow ASA members of the Houston area!

You are invited to the second meeting of the revived Houston-Area Chapter of the ASA.  It will be this Saturday, Sept. 13, from 12-2 PM at Jason's Deli in Rice Village.

Purpose of the group:

   1.  To become better evangelists and apologists for the faith among our science-trained friends and coworkers, and

   2.  To build the presence of ASA at Houston college campuses, so we can bring them the good news that science and faith do not conflict.

o Lunch and fellowship and a short business meeting

o Discuss the article from the June, 2014 PSCF: "Our Genetic Prehistory: Did Genes Make Us Human?"

           - Please read the article ahead of time if possible.

           - Brandon Reddell will be the moderator for our discussion.
